Advert for a Maintenance Contractor for Hartlebury Parish Council to start on 1 June 2025
Hartlebury Parish Council is seeking applications for a Parish Maintenance Contractor to support the maintenance and enhancement of the Parish from June 1st 2025.
The Parish Maintenance contractor is a self-employed person and this contract for services is for one year in the first instance, to be reviewed on 1st June 2026. The work is varied and involves keeping the Parish of Hartlebury maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly checks at the play area, car park and Village green.
- Annual checks of assets on the asset register
- Litter picking around Village green and Parish Hall
- Minor gardening-type of work as necessary
- Minor repairs around the Parish as necessary
- Graffiti removal as necessary
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proven experience grounds maintenance or similar roles.
- Provision of equipment and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Public Liability Insurance to £10,000,000
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and relevant health and safety documentation would be required.
Hours and rate
- 8 hours per calendar month
- Hourly rate to be agreed in consultation with applicant + 45p per mile
