Christmas Tree Lights Event a Success
Christmas Tree Lights Switch On ~ Saturday 23rd November 2024
Although the weather was bracing, Storm Bert trying its hardest, the residents of Hartlebury came in great numbers to see Father Christmas and witness the lights being switched on.
A warm welcome waited within the Parish Hall where fun and games, along with refreshments, were provided. The Hartlebury Parish Council Chair, Cllr Clare Atkinson, said she was pleased with the turn out. She had received positive feedback from the public who stated they all enjoyed themselves and had thanked the Parish Council for holding this event.
Hartlebury Hero for November
The Hartlebury Hero for November 2024 ~ Stanley Buller
The Parish Council took great delight in bestowing the November Hartlebury Hero Award on Stan ‘The Lollipop Man’. He has been an outstanding servant to the community for many years with his cheery disposition and helpful, caring ways. Another very worthy recipient of the Hartlebury Hero Award

Hartlebury Hero For October
Hartlebury Hero for October 2024 ~ Claudia Johnston.
The Parish Council were delighted to receive the nomination from Radmila Mihajlovic for this very worthy winner of the October award.
Through her extensive volunteering on behalf of the Parish, Claudia was the perfect choice to be named a Hartlebury Hero. The presentation took place on November 5th 2024 at the start of the Parish Council meeting.

NEW DATE FOR WORK ON PARISH HALL CAR PARK
NEW DATE FOR CAR PARK MAINTENANCE
Resulting from Storm Bert and atrocious weather conditions the maintenance work could not be carried out as planned.
This work is now scheduled to commence on Sunday 1st December.
Consequently, the Parish Hall Car Park will be closed from Sunday 1st December and will reopen on Wednesday 11th December.

Scarecrow Weekend Results
Congratulations to all entrants
What a fantastic display of Scarecrows! The Hartlebury Parish residents certainly caught the spirit of the very first Parish Scarecrow competition and produced some very imaginative & creative designs. Twenty-nine entrants in total and, with the weather being kind, it made a lovely summer walkabout to view them all. The weekend was well supported with lots of folks walking around spotting the scarecrows and then coming to the Parish Hall on Sunday to vote for their favourite ones. The votes have been counted and we can announce the following winners.
So, (drum roll)…..
The winner: No: 28 Maundy the Mechanic (Ashdene Close)
Second prize: No: 24 Ski-crow (Waresley Road)
Third prize: No: 13 Farmer & his sheep (displayed at The Allotment Site)
