Hartlebury Castle – Civil War Summer Crafts and The Battle Plan Mystery Trail

Get crafty with Civil War themed activities at Hartlebury Castle and follow the family trail!
2026 marks the 380th anniversary of the ‘Battle of Hartlebury’, when the Castle fell to the Parliamentarians. Mark this special year with us by using your imagination to create our English Civil War themed summer crafts:
18th-20th August, 10.30am – 4pm: Design your own wooden Civil War themed keyrings
25th-27th August, 10.30am – 4pm: Make a Civil War coin using clay and stampers
Plus, follow The Battle Plan Mystery Trail and act the detective to help Captain Sandys find his missing battle plans and defend the Castle. Trail running daily (except Mondays) until Thursday 27th August.
Whole site admission tickets required, plus £4.50 per child.
