Fallen Tree on Inn Lane – Coordinated Community Response
Fallen Tree on Inn Lane, Hartlebury: Swift, Safe, and Coordinated Action
Hartlebury Parish Council responded quickly to a fallen tree on Inn Lane over the bank holiday weekend. Despite the short notice, our appointed contractor, Simon Fox, attended promptly to assess the situation and begin making the area safe.
Local police officers and PCSOs managed traffic control throughout the incident, allowing Simon to work safely and preventing any further damage to the nearby retaining wall.
Once the immediate risks were addressed, Worcestershire Highways and Worcestershire County Council teams attended the site and completed the full removal of the fallen tree.
This was an excellent example of community services working together — Parish Council, contractor, police, PCSOs, and county teams — all acting quickly to protect residents and restore access.
If you spot any fallen trees, or trees that look unstable or may pose a future risk, please contact Worcestershire County Council in the first instance so they can assess and take appropriate action.
